The Studio comfortably sleeps 2 and is available for booking all year. Every season has something different to offer.
The beach is often considered the place to be in summer with memories of holidays that seemed to go on forever and long days on the beach and late nights with friends.
Many find winter their favourite time. Brisk walks on the beach and return to a roaring fire with a glass of wine – or mug of hot chocolate).
Autumn days can be considered as “crispy”. Golden sunny days start and end with a cool crispness, and when it rains the sound on the tin roof is welcomed. King tides show us more of the beach and encourage exploration of the rock pools.
Spring is a time many await eagerly with the promise of warmer weather. And what you can expect is that it will be unpredictable. All seasons can be experienced in a short space of time.
The Studio has something to offer no matter what time of year or what the weather brings… whether you wish to go exploring or stay in and relax.

My partner and I wanted to have a relaxing escape from the city, and Bronwen’s gorgeous place just made it perfect. The studio was beautiful and thoughtfully styled, with some extra special touches which made us feel very welcome. We loved the fire place and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. We sadly didn’t get to make use of the outdoor bath, but it is spectacular. Bronwen was a fantastic host and she and her beautiful abode definitely lived up to all the amazing reviews. We highly recommend staying here.
“Bronwen is the dream host. She is fully focused on ensuring your stay is comfortable, restful and your arrival is welcoming. Her cheery nature and delightful care mean you can reach out with any request and know she’ll do her best to help. The little cottage is charming, creative and embracing. It has all you need, but remains very low key. The unencumbered simplicity makes it a perfect place to rest the soul and sit still in the peace and quiet. Plenty of good books on hand to pass the time in a lounge chair, by the fire.”
We had a lovely stay with our puppy over the labour day long weekend recently. Browen’s place was true to picture and had an elegant rustic feel to it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the outdoor shower and bath! The place is also truly pet friendly. Our puppy had a swell time in the backyard. We were already missing it before leaving. Would definitely be visiting
Individualistic place in a nice quiet spot close to the beach and more worldly pleasures of the southern Mornington Peninsula. Our idea of a beach shack with all the modern amenities that you need (and none of the extras that you’ll miss). Keeps it simple and uncomplicated. Induction cooking was faultless (maybe we’ll have to get one!). We appreciated the style of decoration – so right for a beach cottage and short on cliché. Bronwen is very easy to talk to. I’d like to think that we’ll come back here.
This is the ultimate home away from home for a relaxing weekend getaway. We loved switching off and settling in next to the wood fire heater, reading books, walking down to the beach with our dogs, enjoying the outdoor bath in the evenings while drinking local wine, and waking up to the sound of kookaburras then using the amazing outdoor shower. Bronwen was an absolute delight, she was lovely to chat to, and left so many special touches throughout the house for us to enjoy. We hope to visit again very soon!
One of our best airbnb experiences, what a gem! The suburb or Somers was delightful and The Studio a place we didn’t want to leave. We spent cosy nights around the fire, sunrise bathing in the garden, and were even lucky enough to meet a resident koala. Browen takes that extra care to make the stay memorable, the coffee roasted by her son was particularly delicious. We felt right at home. Thank you Bronwen and family
Private, quiet, leafy & a short walk to the beach. Lots of thoughtful touches & treats were a generous & enjoyable suprise. Lots of lovely art, photography & knick knacks to look at, books to read & DVDs to watch. Property is safely fenced so my dog had a blast exploring the property & greeting passers by. Great reception with Optus. Bronwyn was warm, generous & went out of her way to ensure my dog and I were welcomed & comfortable! The perfect re charge!
It is an actual studio, with gentle beautiful artworks to gaze at. We loved our visit. It had everything we needed plus extra kind touches, very quiet and relaxing. Nice size block for our dog to roam securely and parking for car and boat.
