The coastal village of Somers sits on the South Eastern corner of the Mornington Peninsula on the shores of Western Port Bay. Not on the way to anywhere so a quiet and peaceful spot. The beach at Somers is around 3 km long and continues for a further 6km to the east, past HMAS Cerberus, to Sandy Point. The historic Coolart Homestead and wetlands is located at the west end of Somers.
The Studio is close to the beach with more walking paths than are shown on the map. It is also an easy walk along the beach or foreshore to the Somers General for lunch or breakfast or simply coffee and cake.
The closest shops and restaraunts are in Balnarring 5km to the west. A wide variety of wineries, restaurants and farm gates are found a little further afield. We are happy to give advice and information that suits your taste and interests.
